When Al and Boots found the tucked-away corner of Napa that they called “Diamond Creek” it was their eureka moment. Jonah felt the same way about discovering Glass Rock. F-ing eur-eka.
Inspiration
Al and Boots Brounstein took the concept of terroir in Cabernet Sauvignon and showed the world that vineyards didn’t have to be miles apart to reveal a unique personality. No, they could be quite literally next to one another but as long as they had their differentiators they could be magical. Be that a meadow, unique color, fiery origin, or a lake.

Glass Rock Cabernet Sauvignon
“From a dry-farmed, organically grown, non-hedged, no-till vineyard that sits along the stair-step of another nested megaslide. The soils offer a geological mosaic of silica-rich rock— ranging from red jasper to white quartz to multi-coloured agate. Over-wintering cows and dedicated habitat corridors make this site a model for truly regenerative farming.”
